André Ihle has been Plant Manager at Hawe Micro Fluid GmbH, previously Hoerbiger Micro Fluid GmbH, since March 2017, where he is responsible for all operational processes at the plant. His tasks include leadership, strategy development and operational activities, with a particular focus on the further development of the operational areas through the involvement of all specialist departments and employees. He is also a member of the VDI working group for integrated production systems.
From October 2019 to 2021, he was acting head of the quality department, focussing on incoming goods inspection, production quality, customer quality and conducting audits.
From August 2015 to February 2017, he was Head of Logistics and Work Preparation at Hoerbiger Automatisierungstechnik. In this position, he introduced a key performance indicator system and shop floor management, implemented MTM and optimised the work processes according to lean production principles.
Prior to this, he worked in Industrial Engineering from January 2014 to July 2015 and in Process Planning/Optimisation at Hoerbiger Automatisierungstechnik from January 2011 to December 2013. He began his career in 2001 as a skilled metal worker at Hoerbiger Hydraulik GmbH. Paying attention to the existing and preparing it for the new is something I love very much. It is very important to me that everyone understands the ‘why’ of change, not out of necessity, but out of conviction. Interacting with people and trying out new things together is very important to me, and values and motives are something I orientate myself by. I am also very enthusiastic about challenges, whether planned or unplanned. I know that with a good team you can overcome many hurdles and that's why I realise that everyone who works in and on a company is the most important asset.
