After finalizing his diploma in Business Administration, he made his first international experience in Production and Quality Assurance for Volkswagen in Mexico, followed by consultancy at Accenture and joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2002 in Procurement (R&D and Product Supply GMP services incl. Contract development and manufacturing) and moved in 2011 to supply chain management. In his current role as VP and Head of Global Supply Management Steriles and Devices at Bayer Pharmaceuticals., he oversees the supply management of Steriles and Devices globally, ensuring product availability for patients while delivering on financial commitments. He continuously optimizes the supply chain to achieve these goals and manages end-to-end supply chain networks, including supply risk management and new product introductions. Throughout his career at Bayer, he played a vital role in product life cycle management of various blockbusters, end-to-end supply management as well as developing, implementing global IBP/S&OP practices.
